Great Egret
I saw this bird roaming about this afternoon. I think it must have flown across the street from Audubon Park. I tried to get a good picture (obviously didn't as you can tell). From what I read online it's a Great Egret. Great Egrets can be found here in Louisiana year round. They have long black legs and a yellow bill. Egrets feed on fish, frogs and insects and are known to make a "kroow" sound.
